I've come to believe that gratitude is expressed through action. I do more, then I get more. Thank you so much for your seemingly endless cheerfulness and positivity - you are a breath of fresh air.

Grateful that I started collecting coins early on in my life! Such a great hobby to be a part of.

  • Grateful as always for family, friends and health. Also greatful that 2018 is ending in just a couple weeks as this year wasn’t the best for me in a lot of ways. Here’s to 2019 and new beginnings.

Please don't enter me in the drawing, but I wanted to say thank you. The inspirational quotes, fish photos, and all of the comments have been a wonderful way to start the day!

And now I get why everyone seems so enamored with Paradisefound...! <3

I am very Grateful to the GREAT SPIRIT and the skilled Physicians that got me out of the hospital and back home
for CHRISTMAS after a month in the hospital, after an ischemic stroke and still having good functionality of myself...body mind and spirit. with some continuing Re- hab for a bit.Quite an eye opener at 57 and pretty good health even after those
1970's and not seeing a Doc since i was 20,,, feeling blessed and Grateful for sure......as i have never felt before given the
circumstance and my huge aversion to docs and hospital stuff, and my mom was a surgical RN for 30yrs.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!!Always BE Grateful give Thanks and count your Blessings( for they are many)
Onward to a wonderful 2019 for everybody!!!!!

I started to contemplate the many things that I am thankful for, just like @Bochiman above, but couldn't choose one. My list would be pretty much identical to his except for the military service. I didn't provide this for my country but have a deep and sincere appreciation for those who did and do.

I'd add one more item to this list. I am grateful for @Paradisefound 's generosity and positive attitude and the effect that it has had on the members of the group. Her posts brighten the days for many of us and cause us to be a little kinder to those with whom we interact. Even the crankiest members here can't help but be affected in a positive way.

Of course this appreciation extends to all of the other members who contribute in various positive ways to make this board the valuable resource that it is.

I was just remembering when my girl friend met me in Hawaii for an R&R in 1971. We had a really good dinner at a romantic restaurant called Arthur's. Red leather love seat, attentive staff, great food. I wonder if it's still there? Thankful for memories not blurred by PTSD. Peace Roy

Congratulations Pete!!!Thank you Paradise and Mango!!!(extra treats for you...good pick from the pile )
Daniel Carr does some very tasteful work and demonstrates impeccable finished product, i had never seen or heard of his work until i joined up on this forum. the ongoing thread about the latest is a great showcase for the craftsmanship and interest in his work, from the beginning i think i'm at page 55 and still moving forward to get the full scope of collectors appreciation of the works themselves. Keep on being Grateful an Thankful everybody even the smallest things that might seem insignificant.Smile to a stranger you might just make their day... more than you know.... it's happened to me .WOW!!!.....
As I'm sitting here typing these very words, my doorbell rings and an old Family friend (20 years my senior) i have not seen in a very long time hand delivered ME Some beautiful flowers a card and a spicy cheese roll a hug and smile, i'm feeling pretty darn good right now, brightened my day up, i'll take that anytime but i must remember to give it back somewhere in someway also, I'm sure You get my point.... I Gotta go i have to make coffee for my guest and I. MERRY CHRISTmas Eve INsert emoji here,,, mine don't work for some reason.
