I perceverate with my coins often. It's soothing and fun, and so much better now that I'm into PCGS slabs (coins are safer)
i thought I would share the beginnings of my Dollar type set. And maybe other selections from my collection eventually.

I got this with an Amazon gift card. I might have overpaid but all I want it coins lol. L&C coins sent this awesome toner in a blind purchase. I can't seem to capture blues and purples, as the reddish-amber-gold toning overwhelms the colors.

Some of my first coin purchases as a collector were Eisenhower's. Mainly because they are generally very affordable in top condition.

Here is my 1938 PR67 FS 401. It is the plate coin for this variety on CoinFacts. This was on my first group submitted raw to PCGS from my Dansco book. I had every proof in there for every year made, until I got them holdered. PCGS did Free trueview imaging for this, which was a nice bonus.

All of the 1938 are Proof yes (except the 38 FS106 ddo posted on March 10 with no cert #).

New purchase just arrived. WOW. Wow!!!
This is my new favorite coin. Ever. The colors and clarity are almost overwhelming in beauty. Although I wish there were no spots on this (I really dislike spots), these make no difference to me. I put it in my registry as my regular 1938 Proof. It is a FS 401 re engraved serif Variety which is also my favorite 38 Proof Variety.
I will repost the PCGS image. Here are some pics in bad light and direct sun. It is wow. Thank you Oxbridge Coins in San Francisco!
