Yes, a nice one for sure. And scarce, maybe a bakers dozen known out there? (Correct me if I'm wrong, please). I made an offer on it trying to whittle a few bucks off it, but you came in at the BIN and beat me. It was gone a couple hours after it was listed...

Yes you are accurate. Question why did you not just bin it?
Don't know, kinda wish I had in retrospect. I offered 15% back of the BIN, which usually has a high rate of success. There are often automatic accepts on BOs. I guess after my offer didn't get an immediate acceptance, I should have hit the BIN. I also wasn't too hot to spend as I already have a nice PCGS 62, although not as pretty as this one...
Very nice looking. I like the pic... just curious though since you mention the rose coloring... did you take the pics yourself or are they the seller's pic?
That is indeed an amazing Trade Dollar... excellent detail. It would be double amazing if it had a CC mint mark... Just joking... it really is a great coin. Cheers, RickO
Collector of numeral seals. That's the 1928 and 1928A series of FRNs with a number rather than a letter in the district seal. Owner/operator of Bottom Line Currency
