I got this email today from Allan Nowakowski's wife:
"I was going through my husband's computer today and saw several emails that he had saved from you from 2017. I assume that the two of you were acquainted through his love of Lincoln cents. I regret to inform you that Allan suffered a heart attack August 12, 2018 and passed away the next morning. Although it was totally unexpected and we miss him terribly, our family has found peace that it was exactly the way he wanted to go. My best wishes to you for a healthy and prosperous 2019." - Karon Nowakowski
He was known as "Dr. No" on eBay. I bought a number of coins from him. Though I did not know him well, we exchanged a number of emails in 2016 and 2017. He was really well informed and interesting to talk to about coins, the economy, and politics. I am not sure of his age, but I think he was around 66 or 67 years old.

Well informed and choose a good woman to marry. Smart man. Never dealt with him, but the loss of any coin expert is a loss to all of us.
Sad to hear WL. Received a Christmas card this year with a similar message. Makes one reflect on how short our time is on this planet.
