I have had most excellent service in 2018 from Liberty Coin in Huntington Beach CA, via eBay listings. Extremely pleased.

Agree with EOC on both counts.

With a bit of caution, problems as a buyer have been negligible.

I have had both great buying and selling deals on the Bay. Positive P&L!

Apmex best dealer on this planet anyway. Nobody else even comes close.

I'll agree with blitz but also MCM is always stellar, never flinch at a buy from them. Truthfully, 98% of my buy/sell on ebay have been great -- with good use of tactical sense and "prophylactic protection" ;) .
Of course, I'm the absolute best out there... :)

While I do not purchase much, or very often, from ebay, I must say, I have had excellent transactions, both in quality and service. Cheers, RickO

Except if one is buying type coins from them - we have gone that route here and established that one does not get the coin shown............ So for bullion, they seem to be stellar, just not for type.....

For raw coins, the only dealer I buy from on ebay is tipsico. Every single coin I bought from him has straight graded at PCGS at the grade he lists or better. He lists in each item description his view on the surfaces allowing one to cherry pick his best raw coins.

    Best, SH

AMPEX is inflexible with their policies and procedures. I was trying to buy a $1200 gold coin from them through eBay and wanted it shipped with signature conformation. They said, "no, the coin must have a $1500 value to ship signature conformation". I offered to pay for the signature confirmation. They said, "no, it was outside of their procedure". I did not buy the coin as I was going to be out of town and did not want the coin sitting in my on street mail box.

Their third party insurer dictates their shipping policy.

Approximately 90% of my collection was built from eBay sellers, too many to list. There are no B&Ms by me but I do have the really nice Parsippany Show once a month nearby. But when you're hunting half dimes and varieties you don't see a lot of local turn-over.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
