One coin does not make a market and the images make it look MS66+. (Of course it is likely a mirage based on a crumby scan.)
If you look over the Legend auctions youll find 100s
Those coins usually have something else going for them. I wish the market were that perky. I still have some coins to dump, and I see common date widgets like Morgans and Peace Dollars to be canaries in the mine - usually they dump first because the pieces are so common and when people are starting to dabble in coins again, they see increased activity IMHO because people want something old with a low cost.

Correct, but the coins in Legend's sales are basically curated to only have premium quality stuff-which always sells strong. You can't compare that to the sludge in other auctions or in dealer cases at shows.
VAM? Looks like a small die break to the left of the bun, and behind the tip of last ray in tiara. I don't believe that to be hair detail but can't be 100% certain from photo. I couldn't find this one in listings though...who knows.
Way overbid. I bought some really nice NGC 65 Prace dollars from bullion dealer for $75 each at a show in August. He had a case full of probably 200 Morgan and peace freshly graded coins. Gs about $85 on the 65 common peace dollarsI think.
Yes market weak - will they go down further - dunno but good time to buy.

They who?
Not me.
A lot of bidders hoping for a 6 ?
Since when is two a lot of bidders? Two guys bid this thing from $66 to $145. Yes the market is very weak.

Maybe it is just so rare to have a true auction on Ebay that people are bidding just out of the sheer novelty of it?
Nice Peace dollar, but not $145.
But it's NEWER than a 21.
A very nice Peace Dollar....but not at that price.....Cheers, RickO

I agree. It doesn't even have a sticker.

If the market is weak, you can’t tell by me.
I just bid a Hundred dollars over retail (20%), on a coin that I liked, and got outbid.
I hope the new owner likes it, as he paid a very strong price.
And no it wasn’t stickered.
I really wanted the coin but didn't feel comfortable going higher than that.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Weak market? Really.
My knees get weak when I see a nice coin, Forget the Market!
