Looking at Wexler, I do not see what is doubled on your coin... could be the glare though... Cheers, RickO

Normal coin.
As I recall, there is a minor ddo for 1999, though. Partially doubled earlobe similar to the one from 1997.

Something on the third 9 maybe. The glare makes it hard to tell.
Nice steps on the reverse. Does the books show this as a DD type

Looks like die deterioration causing a "shadow 9".

I'm working on upgrading my camera to be able to post better pics. When I get my shipment I'll get a better pic on here.
It is the light source causing glare around the points of interest causing the problem for us. Turning off flash or re-positioning light could be all that is needed for now.
Looks too flat. I don't think it is a DDO, IMHOP.
