99% of the coins I own are MS. Purchased a couple proofs that I thought looked nice. Any thoughts about the coins would be appreciated. I have not seen many proofs in these series and hope I choose well.

It is virtually impossible to accurately grade proof coins from photos because hairlines often only show at certain angles in the light. With that said:

1909 Barber Dime PF - I'll call it PF62. I don't care for the spots at her chin, between the "E" and "R" in AMERICA, and on the obverse rim at the rim at 2 o'clock.

    1942 Walking LIb Half PF - PF65

I agree with 63 and 64...I think some of the lines on the dime are on the holder.

    Dime PR63. WLH PR66.

They are both in rattlers. The holders have some scratches which made them difficult to photo. The spots in front of the chin on the dime are barely noticeable without a glass. The spot at the E R is tiny and not distracting. There is no spot at 2 o'clock that is the rattler rubber.

The mirrors on the WLH are deep and watery. Not sure how to show that in a photo. They will be sent to CAC. Thanks for guessing.

It looks like I am a point low on both rattlers. It looks like I've finally acclimated to the newer PCGS standards. What say you @Wabbit2313? :D

You are dangerously close. Don't forget to mix in an Altered Surfaces once in a while and you will be home.

With those spots? Are you serious? Nice coin, but I don't see an upgrade or green bean in its future. It's worth more in the rattler.

I see one itty bitty teeney tiny spittal behind the e in liberty magnified 80x eighty times. . NOTHING ELSE. The others are the holder. Lay off the "are you serious"

Now go guess the ANACS to PCGS 1921 SLQ that I posted. Thank you.

Lots of lines on the dime... the photographs probably accentuate them... PR62

    WLH looks nice... PR65...

Edited to add... looks like I was a point low on both as well...
