I wish I had had this year set graded. 1943

Well, I sorta did. All in ANACS small holders. Forget the grades though.
I built it for my wife's birth year. Gave it to my granddaughter a year or so ago.
Sure wish I had done it in PCGS slabs.

I'd have to take it back from her.
So doubt it.
Distant maybe.
Fantastic set either way.

That is a nice gift!
That reminds me that I need to finish up the date sets for my kids/grandkid.
That's pretty "sweet" of you !!!
That's a great looking set!

Why not have a talk with your grand daughter? You'd be surprised at how smart grand kids are.
Nice looking set of coins!
That is a very nice set of '43 coins... Definitely RickO approved...
Cheers, RickO
Nice set. ANACS small holders? Those images don't look like they were shot in the small ANACS cache holders. The holders look translucent. Were those 'pre-slab' images?
Nonetheless ... share the grades!

Those were shot while in the ANACS small slabs.
I'm letting it go as is.
I found a nice deorative (girlie
) box that fit all of the little slabs and gave them to her in that.
She likes them as they are.
My birthyear set is in an NGC multi holder.
Wife was always pissed off that they didn't make PROOF sets for her year.
The 1943 set was put together when you could paw through a local coin shop that had multiple coins of each denomination.
Those days seem to be long gone.
I don't recall the ANACS grades on the mint set.
I know I've never seen a better steel cent.
Nice set. If you wait a little while, my money's on you being able to borrow them for a couple weeks to get PCGS to put them into one of their multi-coin holders (yet to be announced for the US market).
