@coinzzz Welcome to the forum. There is a lot of knowledge here with
our group. Ask questions. I have one for you, how is that you
chose our hobby? Maybe we can use the info to have other
YN's ( young numismatist) join the hobby. What area of numismatics
interests you?

welcome coinzzz, @airplanenut began if I recall at your age, reach out to him for moral support, he's a solid example of someone your age that grew and morphed into his 30's now and still sane, breathin and ticking!
Yup. I joined in 2001 as a 14-year-old. A lot of great folks here (most old enough to be my parent) helped me transition from being a kid who occasionally went to the local shop to someone with contacts across the globe. I hadn’t ever been to a show of any size and wouldn’t have known anyone at the most local show, and now I go to the big shows and can spend the entire time just chatting with friends. In 2003 (just after turning 16) I started a photography business just to make a little spending money and got a lot of support here. It’s still going strong.
So don’t worry about being young. There are a lot of great people willing to help you out. Yes, you’ll find a few who won’t be so receptive, but just move on from them. There are enough good folks that you shouldn’t fret over the bad ones. Ask questions, learn, and just participate.
Also, look into the ANA YN programs. They offer scholarships to the summer seminar in CO Springs, which is a great place to learn and meet a bunch of people from all backgrounds of all ages. I went out for free three summers during high school and had a blast.
Glad to see younger members here - I have been collecting since I was 8 - would have loved to have these online resources available to me when I was a teenager. Fortunately my junior high had a subscription to Coin World in 1977
Welcome to the forum. Many of us started collecting at your age or younger. Feel free to post your new acquisitions for all of us to see. Ask questions but be respectful of the responses. And ignore the old farts when they are just acting like old farts.
Here's a YN younger than you learning to organize her Buffalo Nickels by date and mintmark. You're quite experienced compared to her.

KellenCoin and coinzzz .... Young Guns
For sure. Just imagine how awesome of a registry set you’ll have by the time you’re 40, if you start now. I know it’s hard to think that way, when you’re only 14, but That’s how a lot of us got to be where we are today....By starting young. A very old collector once told me to buy one really nice piece every year, then in 20 years, you’ll have a really nice collection. He’s right.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍
Welcome youngin'! I started collecting around 12. Now I'm only just beginning to realize, it's true what my dad used to say:
