I can be so 'stupid'. Don't waste your valuable time like I did.

I was looking at one of my photos, of a coin that I actually have a Truview of.
I'm looking and looking trying to figure out how they got rid of the prongs in the PCGS pic.
Then my brain kicks in and I remember that the coin was raw when they snapped the pic.

Boy..............................it's going to be a long day when I get to work.

Everyone have a safe and happy day.

Don't beat yourself up over a solitary brainfart.

If you start to have lots and lots of brainfarts, go see a medical professional.

It would be interesting if someone could create a app to "remove" the prongs. I'm sure it could be done but not sure who would do it and how successful it would be because it would need to extrapolate what the coin would look like in those areas.

Uuuhhhh! That would be the "prong remover" function in PhotoShop.

Small potatoes. A few years ago, I was in a hurry to remove some PVC residue on a coin, and didn't bother to put anything under a bowl that I poured acetone in...bowl was on a nice table. When I was done I picked bowl up, and then noticed a ring where varnish was removed.

Solve one problem, and created another. Not a finer moment of mine...I felt very "stupid" to say the least!
