Nice old vid. I think the biggest change is that now the courier would not be caught dead handcuffed to a regular bag of money.
Specialized couriers are a totally different animal and more than likely you would not even know they were a courier.
It looks like the 'inside man' has a shotgun for protection and the 'outside man' is armed with a billy club. Probably should be the other way around.

Doesn't seem like it would be very hard to overwhelm a one handed man with a stick. Odd.
Back in the 1980s I worked in a skyscraper in the city. There was a shopping plaza that surrounded the building, so there was no close access for the armored car that serviced the ATM in the plaza. So, the plain-clothes guy with the canvas bag filled with cash would pull out his .38 revolver and walk briskly through the mall to the bank with the bag in one hand and the six-gun in the other.
The strangest part was that usually no one even noticed him.
