A colorful DDR for the Proof Franklin Half Dollar fans

Cherry picked this (raw) from a recent auction.

I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.
Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

Very nice! a DDR that I was unaware of. I like toned Frankie proofs, I am a bit surprised that there are not more Franklin proofs that are toned. Was there a period where they were actively being dipped?

not a Franklin fan, but I do appreciate seeing your cherrypicking mastery in action!

Very nice looking coin. Congrats on finding it raw.

I have one of these coins that I also found raw. It is an interesting variety and the DDR is very apparent looking at the coin with a 10x loupe. For someone with 20-20 vision the DDR would also be apparent without a loupe.

Do you have information about the current market value of your Proof 65 coin? If so, what is the value?

I have several '51's and I am sure a couple of proofs..(My Wife's birth year)... need to check for this one... Cheers, RickO
