Opinions on this 1883 seated quarter

This is in NGC MS64 holder. Do you think it makes sense to cross it over to PCGS at same or 63? Will it get the sticker?
The hit right of the eagle is not that bad in hand. There is one hit each on the obverse-- forearm and leg and not sure if you can make it out in the pictures.
This last picture to show the obverse toning which is a little darker than shown in the pictures. The date can barely be seen. The toning to me is neutral and nothing to write home about.
Any opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I like my coins in PCGS holders and if it were mine it would probably end up in one. But that is my personal opinion.
The hairlines in the obverse fields and the hits on the arm, leg and shield would keep it in the 63-64 range I think. If it would go PCGS 64 then yes. If it would drop to 63 on crossover then maybe/maybe not. I have no idea about stickers.
Other than that brightly lit field mark on the reverse you mention, I really like the looks of the reverse.
I can't say that I agree with the grade due to the obverse surfaces and I am not sure it would get a 63 either if crossed over. I do however like the look of the coin itself.
Scarce coin, and attractive, but I don't think it will 64 at PCGS, especially with all the reports about how tough they are right now on crossovers and reviews.
So is it worth more in a PC-3 holder with a sticker (assuming JA likes it)? perhaps - if its worth the risk and extra cost to you to try, then go for it.
It is a nice looking coin in a major TPG holder. I wouldn't spend any more money on playing the plastic game with it. The plastic game is a game of opinions, not facts.
My recommendation would be to keep it as is... Trying to cross is a gamble at best. It is a nice coin and I would keep it. If you are looking to sell.. then maybe submit to CAC, that would be worth a shot. Cheers, RickO
Have you tried sending it to CAC as-is?
Collector, occasional seller
All things being equal I would prefer the PCGS holder, but I would leave that one as is if is just for your collection. Really depends on your plans for it.
Nice quarter! I'd cross it if it was mine.

Unless you are trying to sell it in the near future. it's fine just the way it is. It doesn't need anything added to it.
Nice coin congrats and enjoy it.
Thanks to everyone for your opinions. I do not intend to sell it anytime soon but wanted maximum value for my heirs. The toning is dark and not sure if CAC will like it. Thanks again!
I don't think it will work at CAC regardless of 63 / 64.
a) CAC hates hairlines. Left obverse field.
b) The reverse marks reflect light. It makes them look recent. If they are toned over it would be better.
It could be these problems are not so bad in person, but that's what I see in the images.
IMHO I don't think this coin will get a CAC sticker at 63 or 64 for the reasons mentioned above. Especially the hairlines in the right obv. field.
