@Coinstartled wondered which coin could be thrown the farthest.
Here is one from me: Which U.S. coin type would stack the highest w/o tipping over?

answer?
The largest one. I'd go with Morgan or Peace $ [except for the 1921 Peace]
BHNC #203
Saints. Combination of width and weight would stack well.
What about those 5oz. pucks?
The silver 5 oz ATB. They are relatively thin and quite large in diameter (76.2mm or 3"). They are by far the largest and heaviest US coin ever produced.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
Yeah, but you already tossed them all in the other thread.
Gotta go with the puck.
I found these in the grocery store parking lot. So they must be valuable errors, right?
Which ones should I send for to our hosts for grading first? Should I send them expedited? Christmas is coming soon.

Wow... talk about wild coin ideas.... I never considered either stacking for height achievement, nor throwing coins for distance. I just like looking at coins. Cheers, RickO
It's what knuckleheads like me post when I have nothing else to post of a serious nature. In the future, I'll save this nonsense for other forums besides CU.
@Insider2 .... You can post whatever your imagination comes up with....I was merely commenting on my thoughts... Not quite as inventive as yours.... I do have an active imagination, however, just not coin related.... Cheers, RickO
I am with you in the imagination department
What was the question again?
I cannot ignore these threads! It's a sickness!

Where is the BURRITO?
Depends on who's doing the throwing.

Stopping by to see what a copycat looks like, again. Still do not see it. LOL 😃
and NOW you see it ....
Actually the stackability of a coin was a consideration and concern when the high relief G$20 Saint was first being produced.
