I sent this Buffalo to PCGS. I dunno, what do you think?

I had nothing to go with it, but thought what the hay. I hope I don't regret sinking 80 bucks into the grading fees and shipping. Seems a little crusty but I'm hopeful. What do you think?

If genuine it's worth it just being in a details holder.

1918/7-D. I don't see any serious marks on it except for honest wear. Looks like a couple small chips on the reverse rim by CA in AMERICA.

Small ding on obverse rim near the date.

I think it will holder at G-6.

I agree it's worth more in a details holder. My vote is VG Details environmental damage....it looks a little porous on the obv. to me.

You did good. Hope for a nice grade for you. Most would not have sent it in, or even noticed, but we are not most.

Definitely looks like the 8/7 and should straight grade.

No problem VG08 IMO. Did you cherrypick it?

It is definitely worth more attributed than raw.

Nice catch... bet a lot of people just attributed it to wear - if they even noticed. Cheers, RickO

Great pick. Should grade G6. Regardless, as others have stated, great eye and well worth the time and money. Thanks for sharing.

I think it will straight grade G06.
It's really a VG08 but they will ring you for the light porosity.
