What does the "Diagonally Reeded" edge of a 1792 Half Disme look like?

I've never seen the edge of one of these. Anyone out there have an image to post of the edge of a half disme?

This is a flashlight mirrored reflector technique photograph which shows the whole coin and it's whole edge around the actual perimeter.

Thanks for the image of the edge. In your example, it seems like the minor damage on the rim is continued on the edge.
Perhaps the diagonal was done to make it harder to counterfeit?

Not an answer but here is an old thread. Pic does not show:

If I find one in change I'll take a photo of it.
Still no pictures.... Though I believe the answer in the old thread verified the direction. Cheers, RickO
No images found yet, but here is an article mentioning that "all of the half dismes, dismes, silver center and small copper cents have a diagonal reeding of the edge."

Any rim bums on the coin would show/transfer onto the edge image.
Here's a mirrored reflector from a flashlight which I used on quarter from my pocket.
If you notice it's a bit off as to photograph the edge tightly against the rim the coin has to be completely level.
I have been thinking about how you got a 360 mirror. Now I understand. Thanks!
Brilliant technique! Very MacGuyver
