More counterfeit coins on ebay from overseas

Here are more current counterfeit coins on eBay. Not that they would fool most collectors but I could see these being sold in flea markets at a big markup. I thought that this stuff was now illegal on eBay but apparently not??

It must be reaching the point on many of these issues that there are more counterfeits than originals ... maybe many, many more counterfeits. Sad.
So, like '16-Ds and S-VDBs. So long as the counterfeits remain laughable in quality as per the above, no problem as far as I'm concerned. The trouble comes with those that are rather well-made.
ebay will remove them if you will provide links so that we can report them.

They may not be a problem for experienced collectors but just think of how many bids these counterfeits get in on-line auctions ... and then there are the flea market "bargain" hunters.
the only way IMO is some laws with teeth.
and laws being enforced at the border where it makes sense to enforce them.
But while border agents "through the book" at someone who carries 10,001 $ without declaring it, the importer of coins etc just walks through because there is probably no provision for "coins" in their manual.
However, while one gets priority attention from border agents and can be charged federally with possession of a minute amount of cannabis when crossing a international border (Canada -USA) from one State or province into another where such possession is legal in the origin and destination, I do not think that counterfeit laws will ever have priorities. The crux here if I understand it right is that the actual border is under federal jurisdiction and laws.
The only way to stop the importation of Fake coins is at the border and that means you have to involve the politicians. BIG TIME!!!!!!!!! and yes, it is possible.
we can complain as much as we want to each other and in forums, unless the laws have teeth, it will get worse.
Just wait until the guys in China and elsewhere use laser cut dies 'en mass' to make BUNC coins where even well known TPG's and others will be, or actually already have been, fooled big time. see

Your Honor, I rest my case. The culprit wins.
When it comes to coins... I really have almost completely stopped looking at ebay.... just too much garbage and fakes - and overpriced as well. Sure, I know - and see it all the time here on the forum - there are some bargains/treasure to be found. More power to those who have the time to search for them. Cheers, RickO
