Good for you, subordinate , but I would cross them (after the dust settles at PCGS) because I hate the white plastic surrounding the coins. The white diminishes my enjoyment of the coin.

I've always felt the crossover/crackout game was a waste of money, if I like the coin the holder doesn't matter. maybe when I decide to sell I'll change my mind. Beautiful coins.
I flip-flop on this issue........I have NO PROBLEM with NGC, their grading or their slabs!
My only issue is what the market feels........I don't want to leave money on the table down the road.
Also, I want my PCGS registry to be complete....this didn't bother me, as much, until NGC disqualified PCGS slabs from their registry, as I used to participate over there....so now it does!
There are just 7 key coins that I would need to cross....I am still in no hurry, especially, since both services have seemed to have tightened up like a drum....Besides, I am not selling and am holding LONG TERM. JMHO.

No crossing or cracking for this one either.
I might paint the slabs.

No crossing No cracking No CACing either at time being

*I decided NOT to post the other No Crack pix

Nice script 8 36. Good looking coin. 55 or 58 grade? I would not worry about the holder either.
I love that old gold!

I kinda like the older NGC holder, I typically leave them alone.

40? Better than some I have seen in 50 holders. Nice coin with a nice original look.
Very nice.
Nice!

I would never cross a coin to get it in a registry.
I have a showcase but no registry and with the likes of Dell Loy Hansen in the mix, he's gonna take home the cup anyhow.
I don't care about being number one. I just like sharing images and information about the coins I have and I like the feeling of order and completion.

@topstuf....Those are really nice old gold coins... and yes, I would leave them just as they are. Very nice, Thanks for showing them. Cheers, RickO
I'm really fond of the older ATS slabs, it's the new white prongs I can't stand.
