Also, if any of you have any good tax advice, I'd greatly appreciate it. Honestly, with signed cards, you're taking many more losses than wins by selling (example: 1988 Score Traded Craig Biggio - card was $40 in PSA 10, cracked it, sent for signing ($140 w/ HOF inscription + shipping both ways plus grading fees and NO WAY does it auction for more than $200+).
At the current $201 bid, looks like you are doing well on your Biggio. Best of luck tomorrow!

I was outbid on the 1969 Topps Lew Alcindor signed card. I don't understand. You can buy a fairly nice one for $500 and get him to sign it for ~~ $125 and yet this card in REA went for $3600 ? HOLY _HIT !!!
It was only $3000 to me + the Vig to REA. but yeah, I agree. It all sort of evened out to me. I thought Early Wynn should have sent for $1500 more. It's easily the nicest one in the world.
Congrats on the results Mike. I picked up 15 last night. Mostly upgrades and a few future HOFers that seemed to go at very reasonable prices. Only managed to snag one of the half dozen rare ones that I was really after. Most of the rare vintage football went higher than I thought it would.

The biggest bargain of the whole auction was 1951 Parkhurst Edgar Laprade not cracking $100. It's a PSA 4, nice signature and he's been dead for 4 years. Stunned someone didn't need it.
Congrats, you did awesome. I’m doing the exactly what you are doing just opposite on the kid front. I’m 42, and my first son is a freshman and living in a dorm lol. I have been really stressed lately because I have a big chunk of my collection going live soon with PWCC, and need them to do really well to break even. Your results are giving me hope though!

Mike, congrats on your upcoming baby arrival and your high success in the PWCC auction. I was able to win the 1987 Fleer Larkin PSA/DNA. As a Reds fan, it will be a great addition to my collection.
I still can't believe that 52 Bowman Jack Christiansen went for almost $1500. I think I missed out on a raw one on ebay about 3 years ago for $60 and maybe another graded one for around $200 since then. Was one of those auctions I expected to wake up and see I'd won and submit my payment...guess not haha. I did win 3 or 4 other cards, but no biggies.
How does everyone know which cards were Mike’s? I assume it was a ton of the autographed stuff, but PWCC was the seller for more than the 750 Mike referenced... Wondering if the Lemieux rookie (PSA 8/Auto 10) was one of Mike’s - that was a beauty that I tried for but missed out on!

You can buy a PSA 4 or 5 for $500 but that bad boy is easily a PSA 7, maybe a 7.5/8.

I was outbid on the 1969 Topps Lew Alcindor signed card. I don't understand. You can buy a fairly nice one for $500 and get him to sign it for ~~ $125 and yet this card in REA went for $3600 ? HOLY _HIT !!!
