How do you all display your graded cards? I'm thinking about doing come custom wall racks for them. Will be cool to see how some of you go about it .... or do you all just hide them away in closets and safety deposit boxes lol.

In boxes....in drawers, under the bed, in the kitchen, in the dining room, etc. Just keep moving them around when the wife says they are in the way. If i were to actually have a room dedicated to displaying, I'm thinking massive amounts of velcro. Just cover the walls and stick them right to it. Might do that with raw cards too. Now you really have me thinking!!
I love this idea and I am in the planning stages still but I’ll answer you with where I’m at after careful consideration.
I think the best idea (if space is a concern) is to get some type of glass cabinet (converted China cabinet) and rotate your display every so often when you want to see other stuff. Many guys have posted their man caves on here which I have perused with care and the key takeaways from the most impressive ones have always been:
1) well organized and clean
2) well lit (can’t stress this enough)
3) interactive (invariably, people including but not limited too the owner will want to touch or hold certain items and this should be easy to do)
As for the cabinet? I’d recommend purchasing one secondhand (you’d be surprised how often a really nice one can be had cheaply or even free) and then you can customize it accordingly. Again, ‘fits into your home’, ‘large glass panes’ and ‘easy to see into’ are the important things - you can always sand and stain or paint or remove doors and panes. Be creative and have fun with it.
Most people have a broad theme while also having more specific themes within it so try to think of yourself as an art gallery curator (you are, just amateur) and rotate the exhibits and perhaps a few anchor pieces that are permanently displayed from your collection.

If you are going to display it in your home, I’m assuming you have already invested in locking doors and windows.
I imagine most thieves are walking right past baseball cards looking for jewelry and electronics but maybe because I just watched Kevin McAllister fend off Marv and Harry.

Magicpapa who is active on some other forums is an advanced griffey collector and has a curio cabinet that he displays his treasures in. You may be able to googl e it to get an idea

I have two antique barrister bookcases with sliding out glass doors in which I normally store my unopened collection. They display beautifully behind the glass. Here's a pic of the two bookcase that I mention, but they are currently filled with books because our house is on the market which means I do not want random people walking through and seeing this stuff. I change up the display every so often, and I have also displayed my graded cards in them.

If you're talking about your 78T set?
That's a lot of acrylic "front and center."
Other than a 63F set that I've yet to finish after 14 yrs, I only have singles.
They're prominently on display inside my gun safe.
I would consider displaying the keys and favorites? I'll be interested to see what you come up with buddy.
Here are some photos from roughly 6 months ago. Things have been added, moved, and removed since then, but this gives you the concept. I have shelving or bookcases set up 360 degrees around the room, with anything and everything on display. I even removed the door from the closet - for easy walk in access - and use that space as a side cubby hole with additional shelving, mostly to store boxed sets and stacks of graded cards. In the main display area, I use BCW 2-piece card stands for many of the graded and ungraded cards. Some cards I just prop up against or between other items. I use 3M Command strips to attach the bigger items to the wall, and sticky tack or putty to attach some of the lightweight items. Much of my unopened material is from the junk wax era, so I like to pop the top and display it like I remember it years ago when walking into in the stores and gas stations and card shops and card shows...Others may cringe at that...but I like what I like. This was meant to be "The Card Room", where everything was kept and displayed in one location. Unfortunately, I have waaaay more stuff that what this room will hold, so instead of a card room, I have a card house!

I will third this. When my bookcases are full of boxes, I usually "feature" diffferent boxes every couple weeks with lids up. I love seeing the packs, and I love to handle them, which is why a BBCE wrapping has never lasted more than 2 minutes on my boxes.
