Mint error or human intervention?

Any thoughts on whether the clip missing from this barber dime is a mint error? I’d expect more symmetry if so, but I’m not well versed on error coins.

That appears to be post-mint damage as the remainder of the outer edge is complete without weakness. This is especially telling with the outer edge on the opposite side from the damage. Lastly, it looks in the images that the indentation might be curled up out of the plane of the coin a slight bit, as well.

That’s an antique statue of Napoleon Bonaparte that’s been converted into a lamp.
On the topic of clipped planchets, I found these two nice ones within the same batch (note, this batch of junk silver was a 60lb canvas sack full that my grandfather purchased in the late 60’s. These are just a few keepers that I pulled out before the entire batch was sold without our consent several years back by a major coin and bullion company that will remain nameless and forever without my business:
And finally, this barber half from that same batch is just damn cool, can’t you see somebody at the turn of the century flipping it in the air and taking a crack at it with his shotgun?
The Franklin is showing the Blakesley effect well. The dime looks like there is a hint. Nice. Thanks for the showing.
The Roosevelt dime and Franklin half dollar are true clips from the Mint. The Barber half dollar might have been used as a backstop for a punch device.
