Is there a secret to getting a response from customer services?

I have been attempting to reach the company since last week concerning a typo or mechanical issue on a PCGS slab I have . Is there a certain password needed? Perhaps someone form this forum might be able to help. My coin graded in 2002 received a grade of MS 67CAM. This is a 1967 SMS 50c Kennedy. When checking my cert. ver. it lists the grade as SP 67CAM. Is the common way of identifying the SMS or could it be a typo/mechanical error on their end. An answer to this has held up a sale for a week now. Is there anyone that can help me with some insight.. truly appreciative N Massey

Originally the SMS coins were given MSxx grades and later on they started using SPxx on the slab label.
I'm not sure of when the change was made.
In both cases the letters SMS should appear on the label below the grade.6 -

Hi many lakes...are you saying that you cannot get an answer either?Either MSxx or SPxx could appear on the slab, depending on the year it was graded.
They are using SPxx on currently graded slabs and on your slab graded in 2002 they were still using the MSxx to identify the grade on the slab. So somewhere after 2002 they started to use the SPxx on the label.I do not know the exact change over date from MS to SP. So it's not a typo but just a change in how PCGS listed the grade on the label. I assume that they were trying to make it clearer between a business strike and a SMS coin.
Business strikes get a MSxx grade and SMS coins now get a SPxx grade.

@disappointingcoins - You picked a hilariously coincidental moniker for your post. I hope all resolves itself in your favor.
There is no error by the way. PCGS now designates SMS coinage as specimen or "SP." It's all the same. No harm, no foul.
Good luck with your customer.... Though I think you may still have an issue explaining this to someone who is not familiar with coins and grading. Print off a copy of this thread, it may help. Cheers, RickO

No. If you have an issue with non-response CS the proper PCGS employee to address is David Talk not Heather. David is in charge of CS.
They are not very good at emails - telephone is best to get a response, although some in customer service do not know the answer and have to check some things out and get back to you.
I agree. I am sure Heather can also shoot a quick email to David to check the forum.
Hopefully CS is already reading the forums between calls/emails. I know they do every once-in-awhile.
