Generally speaking no, if graded by pcgs as Ms 67 maybe 400, 67 + graded who knows depending on who's after it for a set. Etsy's is not where you get coin prices. Try the pcgs price guide for free, just Google it. Those are just general prices and can also be wildly off

There are some interesting varieties of 1956-D Lincoln that command a premium but nothing close to $1000.
1956-D D above shadow D and 1956-D/D RPM 001 are two of the more in-demand 1956-D varieties that command a premium.
1956-D/D is about a $100 coin in RD, gem uncirculated grade. About 4M of these exist in all grades. Mine is a sharp lustrous AU that I value at $40-$50.

Just because Etsy says it is 1000 doesn’t mean it is 1000. 👍 I recommend you look for sumting mutch nicer, in a better grade at an affordable price on eBay. Ps Go Pats !!!!

Agree, I am not familiar with coin market, obviously neither is my mother 😩. Hope Pats play better this week.
methinks there is some major league leg-pulling going on in here.
It appears that Etsy needs to do some work on cleaning up their coin offerings. Kudos to sellers there for their offers of free shipping though.
JRocco, thanks for the images of 1956-D varieties. The D above shadow D is an intriguing one, Maybe I can find a sharp one in early die state to go with my D/D RPM 1 on Etsy.

well people who know little about coins will be looking at such sites thinking big money is comming their way and then find out the site was way off the real world value of their coin

Thanks for the help on this
No, not $1000. Realistically, closer to $0.01.

It's a common, plentiful, not rare penny. Worth is about 2 cents at best.

A generous buyer might go as high as 3 cents. To me it is just 1 cent ... an ultra-common date circulated Lincoln wheat cent.
Just a Lincoln cent... from the picture (quite blurry and only one side) it is nothing special... Cheers, RickO
