If they did away with the dollar bill I'll bet there would be a lot more dollar coins found. I detected on a playground by a football field yesterday and found 4 of them in 2 hours. They add up quicker 
Seems like we had a Canadian hunter on here several years ago and he was finding a bunch of Loonies and Toonies.

Good point PPC... makes sense that if more were carried (in pockets, purses), more would be dropped....Did not happen with Ike dollars, but the Sacs are smaller...Cheers, RickO

It would be great if the US also made $2 coins. Double the pleasure
