    You should not cross. It’s hard to tell mirrors from the photo, but if it’s a solid 63DMPL (which is doesnt appear to be) you’ll be able to get close to fair value in that holder. If it’s not then you are going to pay 15% of the value of the coin to downgrade it.

    What happened to that mint mark? And I cannot see the overdate... at least not in those pictures. DMPL?? Not in those pictures... Sorry... Cheers, RickO

    Not sure what happened with the mint mark. The overdate is the extra metal on the top loop in the second 8...

    I had guessed it was a 64pl before realizing it was in a ANACS slab. Had I know that I would have expected a point or two more. I guess the excessive chatter kept it down.

    Based on pure observation and my keen ability to grade accurately from (only) a photo or two.
    It's a gift. One I don't like to brag about.

    Coin is accurately graded at 63. Would not cross as DMPL, PL yes. I would leave as is.

    I now have the coin in hand. The mirrors are deeper than the photos show. I am terrible at all things related to coins but sitting on my desk, i can see the individual reflected LED bulbs in my desk lamp in this coin and AM NOT able to in my NGC PL coin. I do not know if this is a thing, but the contrast between the fields and profile are not strong but the depth of the fields is substantial

    I know how you feel. Sometimes images just don't do a coin justice. I have a Morgan that has very nice mirrors but does not show well in images.
