1913 Liberty Head Nickel for 3.69 million

On the bay.
Short excerpt from seller: “Pretty light golden toning. Walton specimen, with a rich history. This is the coin that was “Lost for 40 yrs!”
Only five 1913 Liberty nickels were minted. Only three (3) can be privately owned: One (the “Norweb” specimen”) is owned by the Smithsonian. Another, (the “McDermott” specimen) is owned by another museum.”
Edit to add: This might be duplicate post or it is being sold again.

I am amazed....a coin like this listed on ebay....Do not know what to say.... Cheers, RickO
Flushed with the success of selling not one, but two empty Iphone boxes, as well as an actual phone, the seller has decided to step up his game.

That's funny!
I knew it would happen.
It is interesting how the 5 coins have diverged in quality over 100+ years - I would think all 5 could have been pristine like the Elaisburg coin when Col. Green acquired them. Were the other 4 cleaned over the years due to "tarnish" or were they just mishandled? (such as depositing the Hawaii-FiveO nickel in a newspaper vending machine
)
Sure a nice coin. Makes for great dreams.

The $100 in eBay Bucks is making me consider it.

It has been up a few times since the sale of the Eliasberg coin.
yawn...no spread between the grades.
I wonder who will buy this coin. It is not an auction so I think it will be hard to sell for the seller.
free local pick up. something about that makes me sorta nervous, just saying
This!!!!!!
I guess Legend, Stacks/Bowers, and Heritage did not
return their calls.
