Coins seen in the “Peaky Blinders” what are they

I watched a show called the Peaky Blinders, set in England? Industrial revolution era. The show follows a gypsy criminal gang and its leader Tommy. Many cool foreign coins are talked of and appear here and there on screen. Has anyone else viewed the show and recognized any of their currency? Season 4 had a coin toss.

Just started watching. Great show so far. Haven't paid attention to the coins though.
No. I haven't yet but, I love your art work kinda reminds me of Dali, yet not sleeping.
Thank you

“1919 penny spinning in darkness in slow motion, glinting in light. It spins slowly enough for us to glimpse the King’s head spinning through shot three times...”
From season 2, episode 1 script, http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/scripts/Peaky-Blinders-S2-Ep1.pdf
Not being much of a television watcher, I have never heard of this show.... Reference the link above, if the script were so confidential, how did it find it's way here on the forum? Or is it an old show? What a strange name... I am sure it must have some significance... I likely will never find out though....Too many other interests... Cheers, RickO
I believe it has to do with horses blinders. The show has a great cast but did not catch my interest.
They literally blind people.
The gang in the show is known for wearing hats with a razor blade tucked in the brim. They blind enemies with it, in fights, thus Blinders. It is a rambling drama with violence and political intrigues. On Netflix and BBC
