A long time employee who just recovered from bad car accident has lost everything. Unfortunately both her pets died but her family got out just in time. Expecting her 2nd child soon you can imagine the stress. To make matters worse as renters they had no insurance and neither did the landlord. We are all doing what we can but I wanted to share the link to her fund. I am only providing this information because some of you talk with her over the phone regularly.

This is the most unfortunate events leading to Thanksgiving

The generosity and encouragement is beautiful to see ( as read on that site as well as here ).
This thread and others reminds me of the old saying : "when it rains, it pours ".
It is painful to read and experience/ or be the one suffering the shortfall.
Thoughts and prayers.
Maybe those qualified and knowledgeable could post the best resources, federal, state, etc. for disasters like this.
Very sad .... I always had renter insurance... though I never needed it...Such stress at a time when she and her family certainly do not need anymore....Cheers, RickO

Sorry for the pets but glad she and the family are safe; continue more thoughts and prayers to her and family and to crazyhounddog and family.
