This is how I make most of my decisions at work also!
Odd that any arrest would be made, in a minor traffic violation. I read they(police)! just take your cash (confiscate without cause) in some states.
Keep statehood Quarters with you at all times. This is the message I'm getting. In case you need to flip a coin for justice or help a cop decide your fate. Or just to wash the car.

I'd wager the speeder will have a lighter foot - at least for a few days.
I've used that coin flip app in the distant past.

Not a smart move by those officers.... There are rules to follow...showed this to two of my police friends... they were not pleased....They do have some latitude, but their decision, when latitude is warranted, is usually based on behavior or extenuating circumstances. Cheers, RickO
I thought they only used that app for Dunkin or Crispy Cream

I couldn't imagine an arrest for basic speeding, that is why they have citations. Then to use a phone app coin flip to determine an arrest, these two are a bad example and definitely are not being smart. A lot of wasted time here with the officers, the jail and the driver for what should have been just 15 minutes of cite and release.
