Where if anywhere can I find info on silver rounds?

I bought it anyway for the silver but, for a minute thought I had my first doubled die. Liberty and some more in United.

Just the way the lettering is cut. The cutter was spaced farther apart than the width of the cutting tool, so you see the gaps where there was no overlap.

Thank you kind sir. This wouldn't by chance be Robert Finn?

Maybe, someone should create a book on rounds or maybe there is a good reason to not...

Just bullion, dd doesn't matter. Weigh it and put a magnet to it. Try the rare Earth button magnet slide test. Just be sure it is silver. You tube videos show the test and it isn't 100%.

No doubled die... and would not really matter on a silver round....Cheers, RickO

Instead of a reference book, I'd like to see a website dedicated to Rounds -- with a forum to share info and a searchable database.

Or maybe it could be added to this website...

Okay, growing up I had a friend named Robert Finn. Never know.

That sure looks like its silver plated, could be the picture?
Check it for. 999 silver and weight.

  • I avoid buying any silver rounds or silver bars that don't have the fineness, weight, and the manufacturer's name or logo. There are just too many fakes coming in from China now.

Love bars and rounds, I know I change them out the PVC pages in the book
And there is a book on both I'll dig it up later.

    Hoard the keys.

Type2 cool collection! I would love to see that book is it still in print?

@Type2 ... That should be enough info to find one. Thanks :)
