My father was born on November 3, the day after your birthday. He passed in 2014 and if he were still with us he would be turning 92, a tad bit older than you and me.
BTW, the 1952 proof half dollar you posted in this thread is stunning. My favorite type of Cameo proof, one that has multicolored rim toning that frames the central fields and devices. Is it a coin that you own?

I wish it were my coin also.
You know, I sometimes believe that collecting glamour shots photos of the very best coins of a series or collecting niche would be as fun as collecting the coins themselves. You could pull up the photos and look at them anytime, anywhere on your mobile device. No muss, no fuss and probably a lot less expensive than collecting the real thing.
Same thing can be said for classic cars, trophy spouses, trophy significant others, bling, homes, etc.
