I really like dansco albums and I have a few of the old library of coins books also. I let most of the LOC go over the years but I still have my first Jefferson circulated set in my first LOC album.
That little old LOC is older than I am. It was the gateway album that got me totally hooked on coins.

I like what Dansco's do to clads and nickels and what LOC's do to nickels
I still have my Jefferson, Roosies, Washingtons, and short set Walkers, Peace dollars, along with an about 80% full set of Morgans all uncs that I put together years ago-albeit in the Whitman Classic albums. I still enjoy looking at them. I hope my son will take an interest in coins. With all the 'smart' cards and crap, the next generation may not even know what a coin is. Most of the above I obtained raw along with a few busted out of slabs mixed in. Everything else, from copper to gold, I have slabbed. It is still fun to view a complete set in these albums. I recall never being able to complete any set of worn, circulated coins, as I always had to rob them before I could get a set close to completion.
LOC have always been my favorites.
I think, over the years, I've had every one of them (not full). Some of the Canadian province ones are quite scarce.
For my raw collections I use the Dansco albums. For my slabbed collections I use Eagle's.
They are the best fun when a person like you puts together a full collection like that, just be careful with the slides.
Once oh say 13 years ago I put together a full set of SLQs cracked out of all different TPGs, also raw coin purchases. The 1916 left in holder PCGS and no over date included in set. It was great fun. I got to tell you the toughest coin to find was the 1920-D found it in Baltimore at the Whitman show raw. All coins were XF 45 to AU 55. I still have the cracked out plastic inserts.

I gotta ask. Are the Eagle albums you refer to the clear pages that fit in 3 ring binders and hold 9 slabs? If so, have you had any issues with them?
When the slab pages first came out a long time ago, I experienced a lot of scratching on the face of the slabs. Hopefully, this has been solved, but I have been unwilling to try them again.

I like Dansco for everything except red copper and any type of proof coins.
I like the Dansco, have 18 albums.
working on a LOC set of SLQ's in F to VF, minus the really pricey ones. lot of fun to put together from raw coins at shows.
Enjoy the albums. Have several, but hate the fact the update pages are always late coming out and difficult to find. Not the best way to run a railroad. Been waiting months for the latest Kennedy Half page to become available.
I'm investing in Dansco for my best set of each type I collect. It just seems appropriate to do so. My "reserved" sets are going into 2x2s.
My strategy is about collecting what I intend to keep, not investing in what I plan to sell.
Yes they are. I've got about 30 pages in 10 binders. Very few problems in the ~10 years I've been using them and the pages are easy to replace if they do have a problem. No scratching problems at all that I have noticed. There are two types of pages shown in the example below. The first page on the left opens like a folder and snaps shut to hold the slabs in place. The one piece page on the right holds the slabs in place with a clear strap that is attached to the page.
I use mostly Eagle and a couple of Dansco

I love Dansco albums! I've got three so far, to Lincoln, and the 7070 Type Set. I keep wanting more. I'm almost as addicted to the albums as I am to the coins in them. Luckily/sadly, my safe isn't large enough to hold any more albums right now

I like Dansco's. I have them for Lincoln's (still missing the 09s vdb), Liberty, Buffalo, Jefferson nickels, Mercury and Roosevelt dimes, Washington Quarters (32-date), Walker, Franklin and Kennedy halves.
Years ago, I also had half and large cent albums (missing only a few expensive dates), All 3 barbers albums (missing only the 01-S quarter, standing liberty quarters, complete morgan, peace, Ike and SBA dollars.
Wish I still had all of them.
Bland Tundra: I recommend Chief Coin and Supply out of Wis. They have LOTS of even more difficult albums, new and used, from various manufacturers. I have bought several there. Excellent service too.
I have that Washington quarter book, and like it, but why couldn't they have just used a regular capital Q instead of the number 2?
Has always bugged me, just a bit.

Only have one series in an album. I use a CAPS album for my American Silver Eagles. Love the capsule protection. The notebook format is sort of a downer on heavy coins, but I’m happy with it overall.
Thanks for posting. I tried the strap design a long time ago (15+ years) and found the plastic to be hard and sometimes brittle. This was perfect for marring the faces of the slabs.
Sounds like they did two things. Improved the plastic and also offered a different design to eliminate the strap. I like the folder design so I may try that.

I love Dansco's! I wish they made a complete type set folder. I had to go to Whitman for that.

I will look into the albums for slabs.... seeing them here, I think it may be a better way for me to store mine...I like the boxes, but the viewing is obviously easier with the album...

Seems like a couple of you guys may be interested in the Eagle albums so I thought I'd post a few more pictures. (btw, I'd don't sell these
) Here's an example of what the albums look like and how you might want to label them. FYI, I created a blank template (Excel) for labeling the coin pages as seen in the second picture. Happy to share the template if anyone is interested.
It's a lot easier trading up and down, out of albums. Count me in and around.
