My Baltimore Newps...
resized.jpg)
Hello Everyone... I played the cracks between going to a Community College Transfer Fair for students interested in our program (it let out a little early) and the Annual Johns Hopkins Pathology Symposium (they're a week earlier than normal). Anyway, I only had a little over an hour to spend looking for coins, so I optimized my search by going to the few dealers that I know have pieces I typically like. I simply didn't have the luxury of time to "window shop". First off... JJ Teaparty... I missed Gail, but I actually got to speak to Liz for a little. I looked through their new acquisitions and found a nice Barber Quarter. I then went to see Tom Reynolds. I absolutely love his coppers. He was set up, but apparently had to leave early... I hope all is OK. I went to Butternutt and finally got to meet and briefly chat with Col. Steve Ellsworth. I looked at a few of his coppers and found a nice Braided Hair Coronet LC. After that, I looked briefly at some raw Morgans, but really had to be on my way... Anyway, please feel free to GTG's and comments welcomed!

Glad you found a few NEWPS for the short amount of time you had.
I was going to guess choice XF (EAC) on the large cent, AU 53 commercial grade.
Col Steve is a good guy and I have some decent large cents in my collection from him (as well as Mr. Reynolds).
I always feel a little ashamed about most of my large cents after seeing Reynolds and the other major EAC dealers' inventories....but then I go look at what the 'regular' dealers have for large cents, and I feel better
