Some random newp's.

Just felt like sharing. Don't really like the Oregon, will probably kick it to the curb sooner or later.
PCGS 63 DMPL... in an OGH. I'm sure you've all heard me rant about DMPL's in OGH's, but this one is actually DM. In an OGH!
In some weird holder. ICI? Graded 64PL.
Old small white ANACS 63.
NGC 64, gold foil embossed holder.
PCGS 65+. Cheap hole filler for my registry set.
PCGS 65 Rattler. Eh.
Raw, cherrypick. MS63 imho.

I have/had some of those ICI holders. If memory serves, they are graded right.
I agree, Oregon is not catching my eye either.
80-S is a 65+ all day long, except today most likely less.
OGH, I have had just a couple that were true DMPL. This one is nice!

Very nice !!!
I like the '78. Old a$$ toning with good luster is always good with me
I them all especially the 1928 toned Buff
Beautiful!! I love them all, especially the '80-S. I have a real soft spot for those old NGC no line fatties with gold embossed logo.
Cool
The obverse toning on your hole filler is somewhat unique, atleast to me. I like it.
I like them all but the Oregon.
I was on my phone when I wrote this comment. Looking at it on my PC, I will change it to:
The obverse toning on your hole filler is unique and beautiful-even if you don't keep it in that set, I would still think it should be a keeper.
Thanks for sharing these! I never get tired of seeing people post what they love or are passionate about.
Nice pickups
Nice group of coins. Congrats on some nice additions. Love the Buff. I need a 28D Buff, but in AU58. thanks for sharing.

Talk about market grading with that first 85-O! You have it in hand - what do you think of the grade?
Thanks for sharing your new pieces.
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
ICI is one of the decent slabs from the past. I've seen a few and the grade is usually fairly accurate (at least for common dates).
Here is a small blurb from Conder101:
I saw my first ICI slab in Jan of 2001 but I suspect they are from several years earlier, possibly as early as the late 1980's. (There were several services using large size holders during that period.) I really know nothing about the company other than it was based in Minneapolis. There are two different holder varieties, this is the second variety. The first variety is similar but the label is printed using a dot matrix printer.

Nice Morgans... The Oregon Trail looks as if it spent some time in a damp prison cell...Cheers, RickO
All THREE of these came on Saturday.
Not intentional. A postal flub, a late ship dealer, and one WAY before expected.
Nice coins on this thread.
