Pretty simple, assign a grade to this raw better date Morgan. If only the reverse was similar to the obverse, we're talkin a lock for 66. Shot just a bit ago 1/160, f8, iso100, auto wb, center weighted metering, 18" off coin, lights at 10 n 2.

More than likely it comes back a 4 and not worth the fees, just my gut callin it. Maybe they are a tiny bit generous and call it a 5 because it's a better date. I've seen better looking 5's and worse ones.

Ditto, rev looks better than obverse to me as well. Nice 64 to the op, congrats.

IMHO the very light lines, on the cheek alone, would not keep it from 65 but the chatter in the field in front of the face does.

    Therefore I said 64.

    64? Excellent photo quality!

I am not very good with grading in general so I like these grade threads to sharpen my spherical skills.
It looks so nice from and back. If it was my coin in for grading it would be a 63 or 64 lol, due to the cheek and field in front of the face. The recent “clash of the tightening” with grades make me lean toward 64.
There a lots of small shiny rub/hit spots in the hair, leaves and rev feathers.
I find the coin exceedingly attractive and would love to have a similar example

I said 64. I think the obverse is just too baggy in major focal areas. Th reverse is beautiful, but not so much as to offset the baggy obverse.

These have kinda funky luster. The Graders know that so if it's got superior luster you're coin is a 65 IMO.

I would say a 65 as it is a very nice looking coin without many hits to the cheeks or fields on the Obverse. The Reverse is nice and clean. I have seen and own some that have bigger hits to the cheeks graded 65 by PCGS and also have been CAC'd.

I think that it possibly could even go to 66 maybe, but think that there just isn't enough detail in the hair to go there.

Whatever it grades, a very nice looking coin you have there @morgansforever!

I'm stuck at 64. Few bits of spotting on reverse seems detracting from 65. Overall fabulous coin, and great imaging!
