2018-S Limited Edition Silver Proof Set

The Mint will be selling this set on Oct. 18 at $145 per set with household limit of 2. I bought 2 sets last year for $139.95 each but don't know what to do with them. Both sets of mine are pristine virtually flawless sets and I am debating whether I should buy this year set.

I wasn't aware of the price, but with silver down a tad, it seems to be a lot for a proof set.
Later, Paul.
HH limit won't last long....will be lifted after 24 hours
Discussion on a couple of threads
From what I understand, there isn't anything New or Special in this set that hasn't already been available. All the coins are 90% silver except the dollar which is 99.99% silver. I'm on the fence and am leaning on not getting one this year......it's a real space taker too.
Throw your money away elsewhere.
I like coins with some history. I bought all of the State Quarter Silver Proof sets. Their performance has been disappointing. I bought the Reverse Proof Silver set this year, same thing. I think I am done with Mint products.
This year better off just buying a silver proof set and a silver eagle separate for less money and get the cent, nickel, and sacagawea dollar. Last year had the limited mintage silver eagle from San Francisco, unlimited mintage this year.
Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc
