Home Buy, Sell, & Trade - U.S. Coins

A serios question for Loris88.

You have several threads selling coins here. You are also a new member here with a low post count. Would you be willing to ship your coins to interested well established forum members with payment to follow upon the receipt and approval of your coins? In the past we've had scammers come to our BST Forum to sell coins while keeping the money without ever shipping the coins. This is a serious question.

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Yeah I agree...some of us have been taken in the past even with having contact info, physical address, bank info etc. Paypal and the 3% is the way to go!

Just my way of warning others that Loris88 may be a scammer. I'm still waiting for a response from him or her. :D

One of the coins is for sure a fake. I would also use caution.

Some pics are fairly sharp while other pics are quite blurry. It looks like the seller took several pics from various on line sources.

I am thinking the same thing. Too bad he accidentally stole a picture of a counterfeit as well, lol

The very different pictures, with different levels of clarity, potentially high value coins, red flags all day.

I guess you never win unless you play, but that’s not a game I would risk buying from a random new member who does not have consistent photos, and claims to know little...has not visited local coin shops or jewelry stores.
Coins have their denomination struck into them. When was there ever a copper multi dollar coin?

Scams to defraud older generations are so despicable. I wish there Was a Batman who would give scammers a serious beat down like Joe Pesci in Casino.

An honest person w/genuine coins for sale would be all over this & other threads & fight for their reputation integrity.

One way would be to post high def pics of the coins in ONE thread, not several which to me is highly questionable if not suspicious.

    Instead.... :o

I guess silence is “golden” B)

    The drama continues.

I'm wondering what ever happened to the one person who people initially thought may have been a scammer....said he brother owned a pawn shop and could sell basically below everyone else as things came up (usually GAE and SAE). Had some transactions with a few members that went well but seems to, now, have totally disappeared..... Hopefully it was just "time" to go and it wasn't "set them up, get them to trust, and then scam on the way out".

This particularly on mentioned in this thread.....WAY TOO MANY red flags. Someone wearing an asbestos suit would do well to be careful not to get burned.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I agree, unless you are a crook, you are not going to make a 'killing' on the purchase of PM's or coins in this informational age.

    Disappearing Act
    U2

    You do your disappearing act
    You do your disappearing act

Silence, I know I could get used to this
Cunning, your sin is something I'm not gonna miss
Exile, it's a small price to pay for bliss
Alone, like the painter's dog without a bone
When there's only one thing you need to own
And that is hunger, hunger itself

    I know you'll be convinced
Your mattress ripped, and it is torn to shreds
From all the lovers taken to your beds
    They're empty now
And you think that you can love
And you think that you can love
And you think that you can love someone into love

    You do your disappearing act
    You do your disappearing act

He or she picked the wrong venue to scam others, if in fact it was a scam. That Saint in the PCGS holder looked weird to me, even through the blurry image.

Save this thread so that it can be refreshed for the "next time".

Good grief, there were plenty of warnings, including this thread.
