The Mint's been putting out some really nice 3" bronzes in the past few years. Here's my Dolittle. Talk about flying off the coin medal...
I have to decide if I want to collect a few pounds of bronze. (A 3" bronze weighs in at over a half-pound.) The 1-5/8" medals just don't do it for me. (Unless you count my Presidential Medal collection.
)They'd make a nice pocket piece, I guess...
For me, I'd rather a scene of the Monitor and Merrimack. IMO. Peace Roy
