I love it. I have always had a soft spot for many of the classic commemorative issues. The artistry is superb on many of them.

That sure is a pretty one your showing. I need that particular one too. I do like the color this one displays, very nice.
I have some commemoratives . I need to add to them but after seeing the ones Dan Carr was showing here on the forum I felt like throwing mine in the garbage. Without question the nicest early commemorative half dollar collection I’ve ever seen in my life. If I remember right they were still in their original cardboard holders, maybe not, with thee most beautiful toning I’ve ever seen.
Maybe if he sees this he’ll post them up again.

Commemoratives seem like as good a place as any to park one's money in this hobby. (Providing they interest you.)

I keep telling myself that. LOL. But, stamp guys said the same thing about Zeppelins when they dropped from $5000 to $4000, then they doubled down at $3000, then they were in shock when you could buy them at $2000. Now, at $1000, they don't talk about it anymore.
