Ebay off the wall sellers

I was just looking through the listings for 1884-s Morgan dollars, and virtually all of them were sky high or just plain inaccurate. But for this budding ebay seller better days must be ahead: https://www.ebay.com/itm/UNC-DETAILS-1884-S-Morgan-Silver-Dollar-NO-RESERVE-1-BRIGHT-BEAUTY/401609050506?hash=item5d81c3c98a:g:WvgAAOSwr1Fbntqz
"A little unsure what this is exactly. I’m pretty sure it’s a 1884 Morgan dollar".

Appears to be a very worn 1876 Morgan pocket piece. The seller probably meant to use the letters UNK, as he or she was uncertain of the date.
I don't know why the Ebay sellers, not just for coins, are asking such high prices. On another forum when I asked I was told because the economy is doing so well. I don't know but it sure puts a crimp in my Morgan buying.
Listing ended, no sale. I can understand that...as worn as it is, not even melt value. Cheers, RickO
Even worn like that, an 1876 Morgan would be worth gazillions.
That, however, is a cull 1844 large cent.

Ebay is mostly a cesspool of some nice, mostly dreck coins, but always, almost always way overpriced to the market. This coin has been on Ebay for about 4-5 years now. They don't want to sell the coin, they just want to be right about prices I think.

Okay, so the guy relisted the "1884-S" Morgan. I decided to help the brother out and I emailed him and told him it was an 1840's large cent not a silver dollar. The response I got was: "Ahhhh!"
LOL

Ebay should find some way to clear out all the bogus high listings and other sludge that undermine their reputation.
This might help the seller:
