3 page or so. back on forum or just use search function.
Good article if your really interested in various forms of it.
That scrape on the reverse looks like it was caused by a counting maching (probably Russian in origin) and thus your coin no longer qualified as a possible DD.
Welcome aboard!
@centavo69.... Welcome aboard...Your pictures are good, and show some mechanical doubling on the obverse - no numismatic value, quite common. The damage on the reverse also destroys the coin as a collector coin.... just worth one cent. Cheers, RickO
Welcome. There is damage around the mintmark. Your coin could not be an RPM because tte mintmark is now engraved in the die, not punched in like in the past.
The rest of the obverse suffers from "die chatter", it is MDD.
Good eye, though, and nice pics.

This makes no sense and certainly isn’t helpful to a new person.
It does look like some doubling on the coin but I can’t tell if it is a DD or machine doubling. The latter is significantly more common so that’s usually the safe bet. Welcome to the forum and great pictures!
