Made another Gold CAC Capped Bust Half!

I bought this totally prooflike 1823 O.106a PCGS AU58, Ex. Hawn and Queller, years ago and paid up for it because I thought it was definitely better than the assigned grade.
I never stopped believing that, and I couldn’t be happier that CAC agrees as well........thanks JA!

Excellent eye for detail... and with a gold CAC, you have likely scored a piece that exceeds your investment. Cheers, RickO
That is gorgeous!!! And very fitting colors for the month.
"Made" ... like, in your basement on a personal coin press?

nice bust!
Don't quote me on that.
The coin is what is great, not the plastic or the sticker. It is a great coin.
Beautiful coin. Edit to say rare to find that much color that does not destract from the design.
Beautiful! Congrats!
What a great looking coin.
WOW! That is a great looking coin! A gold sticker puts it over the top.
Amazing coin!
It sure doesn't hurt that the greatest grader of all time thinks it is under-graded.
Lovely coin!!
Beautiful Coin! Great Strike! Great Eye Appeal!
Yay! Well deserved, Dave. Great bust half!
Lance.
That coin is awesome

Beautiful coin and congrats on getting the gold sticker. What would you grade it?
Wow, what a beauty. A pleasure to look at. A Gold stickered 58....does that mean that JA thinks it’s really mint state?
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

JA and drddm aren't the only ones who would "buy that coin as a 60."

NGC gives silver bu coins a PL if they believe it is warranted. It could go 63 PL or better which would be yuge!
Congrats!

Thanks for kind words everyone. I’ve always loved this coin for its overall eye appeal, not to mention the excellent strike, great surfaces, and prooflike surfaces.
If I had to guess, I’d say it would likely grade 62, but definitely not your typical 62!
Then again, I happen to own a Bust half that was once in an old NGC fatty AU55 holder with a Gold CAC sticker. I am 99.9% sure it was cracked out and resubmitted to PCGS for regrading where it now resides in a 63 holder with a green CAC sticker, so I guess higher than 62 is also conceivable.
