missed the new coin somehow
Update, whoops, I looked at the wrong coin! Not as funny now.
.
The 08 looks less dinged up to me. What about the 82 looks better to you?
It's hard to compare them since they were photographed under different lighting and the pictures are different sizes. They both look nice and properly graded. The 1882 is more than a quarter century older which is a plus to me.

The photos of the 1908 are way better so it is hard to compare. I do love the look of the 1908 though.
@Smudge I agree, the 08 has less bagmarks. It's the color that I like, a lot more.

The new one matches the others in the set. I believe it's a solid 63, just the 1908 has a lot of upgrade potential.

Ok, the older one does have better color. I like them both, just trying to see your thinking process. Fair exchange. Matching your others is important as well.
The 08 is far nicer
But, I like the 1882 date

No doubt the 1908 could end up in a 64 holder where this one is pretty locked in at 63. The color is the main factor, plus my $10 is also an 1882.

Here’s a slab shot. It’s hard to get a picture I like.

Very nice, congratulations !!!
Nice.
Nice coin and matches the dates.... It was a trade (you said), so a good trade means both parties are satisfied.... Cheers, RickO
@ricko yeah, we traded even. They both sheet for the same price.
Everybody is happy.
