I like both but you can't do 160 mph on a coin. My 2015 won't be a classic for many years but she's on the way. Only have 12,500 miles on it. The last 5 miles I collected a bunch of @#$% lovebugs on the bumper, what a way to go.
I knew I had more photos of an AMX. The owner told me that if you really cracked up the A/C, you had "snow" coming out of the vents!

Fun thread. Love that Jaguar (XKE?) in the first photo. I used to walk by a Jag dealer who had a plethora of those on his lot back when I was a college student. Kept me motivated to keep studying.
While this one isn't mine, I do own one of same color which is in need of restoration.

Anyone recognize this classic? It was being offered as a period car for the filming of a Nicolas Cage film. In the photo I took you can see the actor as well.
I sold a few of my coins and bought this 1962 Buick LeSabre. My son has no interest in coins but loves cars. Better for me to sell them than leave them for him and my wife to deal with. We take it to local car shows.

I have young kids so classic cars without modern safety features not really practical right now. I recently traded in my Dodge Challenger for a family vehicle. Sad, but I can always get another muscle car in the future.
My wife is happy I collect coins and not cars as they certainly take up less space. She said I can have one classic car eventually, just one. I need to choose wisely.

I love both, but have an 03 Acura, bought new and still drives the same as the day I took it off the lot. It helps towards my coin budget.

Wow, that E-type Jaguar, my favorite. I don't have the mechanical skills to own one however.
I prefer coins for storage reasons. In the event of a fire, grabbing a brief case or duffel bag full of coins is easy.
Throw that duffel bag in your classic sports car and go !

My first Porsche. '66 912. I drove it in college in Rhode Island, 1970 - 73. Winters be damned.
A few years later I took it off the road when the passenger seat fell through the floorboard. Porsche didn't galvanize until the mid 70's.
I sold it several years later. Dumb, but broke.
