Now Ken,,,you've been doing this for a
very long time. Why would you be hesitant
about these nice old coins ? Do it !!!
R.I.P. Bear
Yes, the coins are early dates and have good eye appeal.
I like the dime from 1920 best!!!!!!
I’ll second @LoveMyLiberty, just do it.
the 1920... a 66 +
Ship em!!!
Go for it, nice bands !!!
All I can say is....
Those dates in that condition, yes. Mercs have to be very nice to make slabbing pay off, but those are all good early dates and look great. Edit to say all fb except 16s and it may get it. Seen worse get fb.
The 20 and 23 look the strongest to me.
I vote yes, hell yes, yes, and hell yes.
My guesses: 1918, MS61 FB; 1920, MS 65FB; 1916-S, Au58, as close as one can get on FB, but not imo, 1923, MS 64+FB. Yes, I would send them all in for slabs if I owned them. Let us know the skinny on them, Fairlaneman, if you do send them in.
Those are all very nice Mercs.... and all but one are sure to get FB, and maybe that one will as well. Send them in..... AND let us know what they grade....Cheers, RickO
Ken they all are nice......go for it.
It will probably be beneficial for those coins.
I vote yes on the 20 and 23. Both very nice 64/5 fb. The 20 has an awesome strike!
Weak strike on peripherals on the 18. The 16s looks 58 ish to me. So I would pass on it and the 18.

18P - Yes
20P - No
16S - No
23P - Yes
Explain your reasoning on this opinion please?
Not enough original mint luster for 65, marks from 3:00-5:00 on obverse, and possible lines on lower neck.
Thanks for the reply
Go to the grocery store tomorrow and just spend them at the checkout.
It would be great if your total just happened to be $XX.40.
I worked for Eagle Foods for 20+ years, 10 of those years happened to be as a cashier and I looked at all the change that went through my till.
Generally happy with the grades. Really thought the 23P would go 65FB.
Ken
I was thinking they would do better.
I thought the 18 P would be a 65 FB. The rest I graded on the button. Nice lot of coins well worth the money.
Lovin' the early Mercs!
