Thoughts on this crusty 1818 Quarter Dollar

Hi everyone.
I picked up this crusty critter on ebay for a scant $42. I love it, not only because of its character, but also because it completes my US quarters type subset. What do you guys think? (Most importantly, is it genuine?) It weights 6.083 g, and still has its reeded edge.

I can't tell you if it's genuine but I like it.

It isn't "crusty" it is damaged. I don't like it at all.
It looks genuine, but it’s really beat-up. I am not a fan of what most people call “crusty.”
It’s a filler, and I’m not very good at pricing fillers. I suppose you can’t go too wrong for $42.
If you love it then other opinions don't matter (aside from genuine/not genuine opinions). Grats on finishing the set!
To each his own ! It looks to me to be a
genuine 1818 B-3 8 over 5 marriage that
has had a hard life. Enjoy it for what it is.

I like it for what it is. If only it could talk.
It is BU--

and, yes, looks genuine.
