Interesting 2017 D dime

Hey I found a dime I wanted to get opinions on. It’s a 2017 I think d. In god we trust the date and mint mark are all but missing. Barley readable. Dime is in good condition. I’ll post pictures separate as this is the 4th time I’ve tried posting.

Die deterioration.
Successful Trades: Swampboy,
Grease filled dies?
I think this is the issue.
We need a clearer pic of the obverse.
Bingo!
Later, Paul.
Would this be something worth submitting for a grade?
It would not be worth the grading fees but would likely sell at a premium as is.
Worn dies for sure, probably with a side order of grease.
No reason to grade it. Any value is mostly in the "error". If it were significant enough then have it slabbed to get the error identified and authenticated, but in this case I don't think it is worth anywhere near the cost of slabbing.
Impossible to know what's going on from the blurry pics.
I knew it would happen.
Better pictures would help, but it definitely looks a like what JBK says.
Pete
Pictures are blurry, however, either grease filled or die deterioration....Cheers, RickO
Die deterioration or Worn/Overused die.
Very very common on modern dimes and
the National Park Quarters.
Not an error, just a worn die.
Not worth spending $1 on having it
certified. When new rolls are opened,
I've seen the entire roll look like this,
on both dimes and quarters (mostly).
its still an interesting dime
Thank you everyone for your help. It is most appreciate. I am new to this. I love coin roll hunting but like a dog chasing a car not sure what to do with it once I caught it
