I'm veering off course once again...

But how could I say 'no' to this pretty little lady?

I simply love the design.

How am I EVER gonna finish my Walkers, when I let myself get distracted by other coins?? :D This is my second one in less than 2 weeks! (sigh) :s

Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

The way it's toned on the obverse looks like a sunrise over her shoulder. It's an attractive coin for sure. Nice pick up.

Well....if it makes you feel any better, the Walker's and SLQ make for nice complementary sets, being from the same era and all. :)

Did anyone else take a quick look at the date and thought they saw a 7 under the 8?

Do SLQ's seem to be inspired by Maxfield Parrish to anyone else?

Oh....how could you possibly say NO to her? What a beautiful soft rosy tone <3
2 in the week ....... that doubled your pleasure. Congrats!

Nothing running with running off the road once in awhile. Sometimes the unplanned detours turn out to be the best thing.

Just stay away from the Capped Bust halves road, nothing to see there...

I am with you...SLQ's are beautiful coins and could give Walkers a run for their money.

What Walkers do you still need? And where is your set?

    This is a good point.

It is hard to stay focused sometimes, but it is worth it. Stay the course!

Very pretty example. I have a weakness for slq’s

That coin has a Holiness about it. (Earwise).

I prefer type I's, but when a type II looks like this, I can be tempted to stray... or at least look. Very nice.

That golden tone on the obverse really kind of spoke to me and drew me towards the coin. It looks really original to me. The coin is graded MS 64 and does not have a full head designation, although I feel that the head is pretty well struck up, which also attracted me to the coin. The fact that it's an earlier date was also a selling point for me.

Thanks everyone for looking and for all your input and comments. I appreciate it. :)

I guess kids don't play with electric slot cars anymore.
If I was more computer savvy I would put up an image of a slot car (Walkerfan) on the track and label the track Weinman Blvd.
But that would take me about a month to figure out how to do that.

Stay on the track, young man!
