Paid a bit more than I wanted to, but was able to talk seller down and get 10% back on ebay. Ive seen a few of these in bronze on the market but all had issues, typically cleaning.
This now makes a third of this medal in my set; Bronze, White Metal, and Electrotype. Still looking for a gilt 1892 and a gilt 1922 featuring this obverse and a reverse with St George spearing the dragon.

Very nice. Congrats.
This is the 60mm version
Here are the other two.
Love the new pickup... the color is just what you like to see on a large bronze medal. Congrats!
They are beautiful medals.... Really nice set... Good luck with the others. Cheers, RickO
I am impressed. That is a most beautiful design and stamping I have seen. Thank you for sharing.
